NARAYANI SILKS | Hyderabad | 6,500 square feet

The concept objective is to celebrate the rich heritage of handwoven sarees, the artistry and tradition of Indian textiles. The store was designed to showcase exquisite, authentic handwoven sarees that reflect the timeless elegance of Hyderabad’s craftsmanship.

The design signature is inspired from a lotus pattern, the signature of Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. The brand’s mnemonic, the five-point star, is combined with the lotus flower motif to create a unique brand pattern articulated across the environment. An ambience of splendour is created in a palette comprised of earthy texture finishes, luxurious gold embellishments, elegant mono tone patterns with accents in royal purple. The luxurious tonality is carried from the store facade into the store interiors. Each category has a unique articulation to complement it, they yet come together with the signature palette and architectural language.  Lighting and store furniture plays a very important role in adding to the theatrical presentation of the traditional crafted offerings. Overall, the environment design plays a dominant role in the brand’s perception, experience and engagement.
